What is WebRaising?
Webraising is an event organized by The Art Institute of Atlanta. Students, faculty, and staff of the college join to build web sites for local non-profit organizations in Atlanta, GA. The Webraising concept came from the idea of raising a barn, where a community came together to raise a barn in a day. Originally, the web sites were built and raised in an eight-hour period. The event has evolved over time and now takes a several weeks to plan and build.
